I've built my career around helping people make confident, informed decisions about their finances and property. I started my career as a stockbroker and, since leaving university, worked my way up through the ranks within various mortgage firms whilst studying for and achieving my professional qualifications. That experience has given me a broad understanding of both the financial and property markets, as well as a real appreciation of the different circumstances and challenges my clients face. Today, I'm a whole-of-market mortgage and protection adviser, providing advice across a wide range of property finance, including residential mortgages, buy-to-let, commercial finance and remortgages. For me, it's not simply about finding a mortgage. It's about understanding what my clients are trying to achieve, explaining their options clearly and then finding the right solution for their individual circumstances. I pride myself on being approachable, straightforward and, above all, never pushy. I'm authorised to advise on life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, property insurance and relevant life cover for limited company directors. I'll explain the options clearly and help you decide what, if anything, is appropriate for you — without the hard sell. I'm based in our Leeds city centre office, but I regularly advise clients remotely, so there's no need to be local to work with me. Whether we meet face-to-face, over the phone or over video call, I want the experience to be the same: personal, honest and straightforward advice from someone who genuinely takes the time to understand you. Away from mortgages... When I'm not working, I'm happiest doing something active — preferably something that involves a little bit of adrenaline! Downhill mountain biking is my main passion these days, but over the years I've also enjoyed alpine mountaineering, boxing, Muay Thai, parkour, bungee jumping and parachute jumps. I can also regularly be found at a bouldering wall, in the gym or playing padel. My biggest passion, though, is spending time with my young family. I have two kids who, thankfully, seem to share my sense of adventure! I'm pretty driven when it comes to work, but I've always been described as having a relaxed approach. I'm genuinely interested in people and love finding out about their lives, what's important to them and what they're hoping to achieve.
